The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, released scholarship grants for over 700 Enugu State indigenes. It has been moment of joy, laughter, celebrations, and rolling of tears of joy at the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loans Board’s office.
The scholarship grants supported 500 undergraduates studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria,
100 Master’s and PhD students pursuing advanced degrees and 166 teachers in Enugu State public schools to pursue postgraduate studies.
This remarkable scholarship grant represents the highest local scholarship opportunity ever recorded in the history of the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loans Board under the leadership of Hon. Chukwuemeka Mbah, Executive Secretary of the Board.
The verification, documentation, and disbursement exercises were successfully completed, marking another significant milestone in the Board’s commitment to supporting education and developing human capital in Enugu State.
For the beneficiaries, it was more than a scholarship—it was hope renewed, dreams revived, and futures secured. Overwhelmed with gratitude, the beneficiaries expressed their profound appreciation to Governor Peter Mbah for his visionary and youth-focused leadership, as well as to the Executive Secretary and the entire staff of the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loans Board for making this life-changing opportunity possible.
